ALTA'S RUSTLER LODGE, Alta

Alta's Rustler Lodge has 85 rooms, from standard rooms with queen or twin beds to superior rooms with king or queen beds. Rooms include linens, flat-screen TVs, daily housekeeping, nightly turndown service, Gilchrist and Soames 'Antica Farmacista' bath items, humidifiers, plush robes, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Superior Corner rooms measure 726 square feet and have a king bed or two queen beds, a corner couch with a queen sofa bed, complimentary WIFI, and a HD Flat Screen Television. The bath has a jetted soaking tub, interior/outer vanities, a walk in shower, as well as separate toilet room. Superior South rooms offer one king bed and queen sofa bed or two queen beds, complimentary WIFI and a HD Flat Screen Television. The spacious bath has inner and outer vanities.

The Rustler Lodge Dining Room serves breakfast and dinner. Lunch is available at an added cost. Chef Ed McCall prepares selections daily. Winter breakfast includes omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade hash browns, pancakes or french toast with maple syrup, fresh berry bowl, yogurt, oatmeal, homemade bread and pastries, cereals and homemade granola, English muffins, bagels wheat, rye & white toast, juices, coffee and tea. Eggs to order, Eggs Benedict, Pancakes: Plain, Blueberry & Chocolate Chip, French Toast, Belgian Waffles, Cream of Wheat, Ham, Turkey Bacon & Sausage are also available. Gluten and Dairy free options are available for some items.

The Rustler Lodge features an outdoor heated pool, indoor and outdoor heated Jacuzzis, a eucalyptus steam room, and a fitness center. Spa treatments include massages and aromatherapy. A supervised children's program is available during peak ski periods, including a kids-only dinner, arts and crafts, and a movie. Wasatch Powderbird Guides, located a mile away, offers private or small group ski trips to backcountry locations.

Alta's Rustler Lodge is in Little Cottonwood Canyon, 55 km from Salt Lake City International. The lodge has ski-in/ski-out access to Alta and Snowbird. The Alta's Children's Center is located at the Albion Base Area. Lifts at Alta open at 9:15 am and close at 4:30 pm. Snowbird opens at 9:00 am and lift operations close between 3:30 pm-5:00 pm. Nearby landmarks include Mount Millicent (3 km), Mount Superior (3 km), and Cecret Lake Trail (2 km).

The Rustler provides complimentary shuttles to and from Alta and Snowbird. The Rustler provides wireless internet access and a business center with computers and printer. A ski shop is located on-site. A lift ticket kiosk is at the front desk. Valet parking is available for $25.00 per day. Guest laundry machines are located on the 6th floor. The hotel accommodates service dogs. Check-in is at 4:00pm, and check-out is at NOON. Luggage storage is available.
